Great location, comfortable, easy to access, good responsive host Positive: Great location, really close to team stop. High ceilings have feeling of space in a relatively small apartment. Decor good and comfortable Negative: A little difficult to keep the rooms warm/warm them up. Bathroom is good but very narrow, a little difficult to manoeuvre.

Good Apartment Close to Tram and City Centre Positive: I stayed for 9 days at the apartment and had an overall good experience. The apartment is in a quiet yet well-located area, about a 15-minute walk from Waverley Station and Princes Street. There’s a Sainsbury’s supermarket just around the corner, which was very convenient, and the apartment is only about 100 meters from McDonald Road station, where you can catch the tram to any stop in the city. The neighborhood felt safe and peaceful, perfect for relaxing after exploring Edinburgh. The heating worked well, the bed was comfortable, and the kitchen was well-equipped for simple meals. The Wi-Fi connection was stable throughout my stay, and the key box check-in process was quick and easy. It was a comfortable and convenient place to stay while exploring Edinburgh. Negative: The bathroom was good, with both a bathtub and a nice shower, which I appreciated. However, the space around the toilet is a bit tight, especially for someone like me who needs a little more room, though it wasn’t a serious issue. What did bother me a bit was that people in the building tend to close the main entrance door very hard, which can be quite noisy, especially for apartments facing the front on the first floor. A simple door closer mechanism could probably solve this easily.

Bon lieux pour explorer la ville Positive: Je recommande pour ce qui veux découvrir la ville. Accès facile au transport ou même a pied, on peut faire sa cuissine personnel et chambre assez grand. Aventurier solitaire ou couple je vous recommande. Negative: Alors oui sur la salle de bain je vais pas répéter ce qui a était déjà mentionné, mais on vois que la salle de bain a du être rénovée dans les norme d aujourd'hui (en plus c est une baignoire) donc sava. Ce qui passe leurs temps dans la salle de bain je vous le deconseil. Juste un conseil pour le responsable n hésite pas a marqué sur les tiroirs de l appartement ce qu il contient dedans car j ai mis du temps a trouver le sèche cheveux.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Positive: Die Wohnung liegt außerordentlich zentral und ist sehr ruhig. Die beiden Zimmer sind sehr ansprechend. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Negative: Das Waschbecken im Bad ist nur zu benutzen, wenn man in der Badewanne steht. Das ging wohl logistisch nicht anders, ist jedoch gewöhnungsbedürftig. Darum haben wir in der Küche Zähne geputzt. Die Küche an sich ist wunderschön, die Ausstattung an Geräten wunderbar, die Ausstattung an Kochutensilien jedoch mangelhaft. Für 10 Tage ein (!) Geschirrhandtuch, die Schneidebretter rutschen, die Töpfe sind auf Miniportionen bemessen, die Beschichtung an Wock und Pfanne war stark beschädigt (der Pfannenwender sollte vielleicht eher aus Holz und nicht aus Metall sein, um das zu vermeiden), Topflappen gab es keine... Ich hatte das leider Gefühl, dass alles getan wurde, mich vom Kochen abzuhalten. Dabei ist in meinen Augen der Sinn einer Ferienwohnung, dass man sich selbst versorgen kann und das Lebensmittelangebot genießen kann. Der Kochgenuß war eindeutig geschmälert. Die Mikrowelle war innen nicht sauber (ich benutze Mikrowellen ohnehin nicht, alles gut). Die Fenster von aussen stark verdreckt (auch ok). An der Flurtür innen sah man die Fingerabdrücke von einigen Vorbewohnern. Das Bett war sehr bequem, allerdings gab es nur ein großes Duvet (das ist eine kulturelle Sache). Ein 2 kleines Duvet konnte nicht zur Verfügung gestellt werden. Da meine Tochter 25 ist und ich 60, möchte ich nicht unbedingt mehr mit ihr 'kuscheln' oder um die Zudecke kämpfen müssen ;-) Ich hatte darum einen Schlafsack dabei (generell auch ok für mich). Bei ca. 250 Euro am Tag hatte ich mir eine Wohnung vorgestellt, die alle meine Erwartungen erfüllt. Das war leider nicht der Fall. Das, was ich oben monniere, ist einfach zu richten und soll als konstruktive Kritik verstanden werden, denn die Wohnung ist wunderschön, ruhig und hat eine tolle Lage. Das die Preise in der Höhe gegangen sind, ist mir bewusst. Ich hätte für die Wohnung, so wie sie war, 200-210 Euro pro Nacht (8 aus 10) als angemessen erachtet.
