Perfect spot in the historical city centre if you looking for a charming apartment Positive: Great location in a courtyard at the Royal mile, very nicely renovated and with some basic kitchen equipment. There are restaurants and bars in the courtyard as well and Tourguides leading groups in, too. So be prepared, it’s lively there. Negative: The waste bins down in the courtyard have been overloaded.

Central, historical apartment in Royal Mile Positive: Our stay there was perfect. Very central location in the Old Town. Well-equipped apartment. We even got free ice cream at the café downstairs. There is a pub nearby, but it closes at midnight, so it wasn't disruptive.

Positive: Sehr schönes Apartment, zentraler kann man nicht wohnen. Um hineinzukommen muss man eine recht steile Wendeltreppe überwinden, schwierig für Menschen, die nicht mehr fit sind. Schönes Wohnzimmer, schönes Bad, bequeme Betten, Frühstückscafes fünf Minuten entfernt. Nächstes Mal gern wieder.

Lovely stay Positive: This is a beautiful apartment in a fantastic location. Everything is on the doorstep - visitor attractions, shops, cafés, restaurants and pubs.. It was so easy to live there. The decor is tasteful and in keeping with this ancient building, NTS should be commended on their interior designers. We were sad to close the door for the last time to return home. Negative: The only things that we would have liked extra in what is otherwise an excellent property are a few basic cooking ingredients (pepper, oil, common herbs and spices) and a couple more mugs. We wanted to self-cater but didn't want to carry ingredients home on the train and you can't cook without them.
