Fabulous property on the royal mile Positive: well appointed Negative: a bit noisy

무거운 여행용 캐리어를 옮기기 힘든 숙소 Positive: 애딘버러의 올드타운 중심에 있는 오래된 건물 내부를 개조하여 아파트형 숙소로 만든 곳임. 객실은 침실과 주방, 욕실, 거실로 배치되어 있어서 호텔 객실에 비하여 넓게 사용할 수 있어서 좋았음. 애딘버러의 올드 타운 내의 유명 관광 명소를 걸어서 방문하기에는 좋은 위치임. 기차역이나 공항 행 버스를 타기 위해서는 10-15분 가량 도보로 이동해야하는 가까운 거리인데 올드 타운이 언덕 위에 있어서 역에서 숙소로 갈 때는 큰 짐을 끌고 가기에 편하지 않음. Negative: 애딘버러의 올드 타운 내의 숙소는 대개 가격이 비싼 편이며 이 아파트형 숙소도 그런 편임. 이 숙소의 최대의 문제점은 지상에서 5층(현지에서는 4층) 높이에 위치한 객실을 가기 위해서는 좁은 나선형의 높고 가파른 계단을 20-25kg 가량의 여행용 캐리어를 들고 위로 옮겨야 한다는 것임. 힘 좋은 젊은이들도 쉽지 않을 것 같음. 노약자는 무거운 여행용 캐리어가 있을 경우에는 이 숙소를 택하지 말 것을 적극적으로 추천함. 더블 침대는 2인이 자기에 좁음. 샤워실의 안쪽 손잡이가 부서져서 문을 꼭 닫을 수 없음. 그로 인해서 샤워물이 문 밖으로 튀어 나감.

Positive: The location was amazing! The flat was so cute and made us feel right at home. The stairs are no joke, but we knew that going in to our stay. If you have any mobility issues this is not the place for you. But for us it was so worth it! Can't wait to go back to Edinburgh!!!!

On a vraiment apprécié cet endroit. Negative: Prix un peu surfait. Edimbourg semble plus cher que Londres ou New York...

Positive: Location & unique apartment in historic building Negative: Management company acted like a Mafioso organization. We thought we had lost our room key. The management company sent someone to “help” and we had expected to have to pay the contractually agreed upon 60 Pound fee. Instead, he demanded 100 Pounds . It was late in the evening when businesses were closed. He said if he had to come back the next day to collect, he would charge another 100 Pounds. We had to walk nearly a mile to find an operable cash machine and and pay the extortion
