Struthers Apartment by National Trust Scotland

Perfect Positive: It was an excellent location and an amazing ambiente.

A gem in the heart of the city that made our short break feel quite luxurious. Definitely worth what we paid to stay the Positive: Beautiful apartment in a fantastic location. Very comfortable with the added benefit of having 3 beds. There was nothing missing that we could have needed and the attention to detail, for instance the quality of the cups/dinnerware/glassware made it feel very special. Negative: The stairs leading up to the property could pose a problem for anyone with reduced mobility or a lot of luggage.

It felt like a real ancient Scottish experience and the spiral stone staircase afded to this hard to find feeling. Positive: Historical and unique. Excitng location! Negative: No tissues No paper towels

Positive: The location and view were fabulous and the staff excellent and very helpful. The tea and coffee provision was generous and the living room was very comfortable and cosy. Negative: Very strong and nauseating smell of damp in hallway / stairwell. Very noisy at night — woken up by rubbish trucks at 4am and then people being very loud. Some sound-proofing would be good. Double bed very small. The price is extremely high given these drawbacks.
