Best location when staying in Edinburgh. Positive: The history associated with the apartment. The location, the support from property management was wonderful. Negative: All good.

Privileged to stay in a beautiful apartment in a stunning location. Positive: Staying in an historic building on the Royal Mile; close to the castle; wow! Negative: So much outdoor noise/late night revelry/howling wind noise through the windows, which we presume can’t be improved by secondary glazing etc due to their listed/ heritage state.

Positive: Perfect location for our stay. Comfy beds. Enough space for us. Toiletries and tea coffee were appreciated after long travel. Negative: There was a musty smell to the house. We think it came from the mop in the cupboard.

Quirky property in a good location Positive: Location was excellent. Lots of pubs, cafes and shops locally. A short walk from the castle. Kitchen facilities were good. Negative: The power of the shower was not great. Because it is an old property, it was quite dusty (because it was old not because it was dirty). It was very noisy at night, so if you are a light sleeper pack some earplugs. There isn’t a small supermarket nearby.
