Très bien placé en plein centre-ville avec un parking à proximité. Positive: Pas de petit déjeuner , manque une table pour déjeuner confortablement

Positive: A quiet spot right in the middle of everything. I was amazed how quiet the rooms were with the noise on the street.

A great location for seeing Edinburgh Positive: It was clean and homey and well equipped Negative: We were seniors so the steps were a lot ( but we did them !) We couldn’t figure out how to start the shower for a long time. Perhaps label the switch in the hall. We thought it might be a fire alarm.

Overall a pleasant stay with minor inconveniences, but in the best location possible! :) Positive: Location was excellent! Great instructions from host so it was easy to find. Wifi was also super useful for our stay here. We didn't use the washing machine but it was great that the apartment had one in case it was needed. Overall a pleasant stay and a cute little place in the historic city centre. Negative: Attention to detail when cleaning would have made this stay much better for us. The sofa had old stains all over it and the backside of the bathroom door looked like it had not been cleaned in a while. The bathroom sink drain need a good clean as the water wasn't draining properly. All the doors in the apartment had super squeaky hinges and needs oiling. This was esp annoying since we were four people sleeping there and if someone used the toilet at night everyone else would wake up from just the door opening. This apartment is on the 4th floor and this was a detail I missed when booking. Not too bad if you have the stamina for it (lol) but just a note. The height, however, affected the water pressure I believe, as the faucet in the bathroom did not have "running" water, but the water was "pumping" out instead. I don't know if this is custom for apartments in the old town, as this is my first stay in Scotland and this doesn't usually happen where I'm from.
